It's here all ready.... Where do the week-end's go??

So, tonight I have my first knitting class at this cool little shop in the Heights 'Yarn Mart'--Kent bought me my first needles and some yard on my b-day while we were out... I've always wanted to knit a scarf--so we'll see... My two fav boys will be having left over white chicken chili from last night and I had also made some "beer bread" in my bread maker..  It was so yummy, **will post recipe later**

Tuesday.. Me and Kent are going to happy hour after work any maybe Sushi--we want to discuss our Spring Break and Summer plans... For some reason, we don't get as distracted if we go somewhere... plus it's nice to wind down a bit after work... and spend time just the two of us...That's when we solve all the world's problem's as we like to say....Lol

Wednesday.. I'm filling in for a Bunko party that some of my co-workers are having from an area that I use to work in--sh be fun catching up as I'm in a diff building than them now--so don't see them often.. I've only played once--so it's all new to me...

Thursday.... Well, who knows.... That's usually our date night since we're off on Friday's--but since we're going out Tuesday-we will probably just have a night at the casa relaxing as Kent is getting up early to go Duck Hunting on Friday.

Weekend's Almost over...

So, Sat I spent some time Valentining the house a bit--nothing over the top just a few things. I did decorate the mantle... But pops of red and hearts make me happy.... I also made this wreath last week... Very simple got the burlap idea from www.ouroklahomanest.com. I already had the wreath--Burlap from Hobby Lobby and the heart wreath hanging inside at the Dollar Spot at Target.

Last night, me, Kent, and Baylie made Flat Bread Pizzas and watched Money Ball on a pallet in front of the fire place. They were yummy and easy...

This morning Kent fixed us Belgium waffles w our new maker that we got after Christmas. So good... He always makes breakfast for us at least once a weekend! It's my favorite!

Kent's off to golf so it's just me and Bay till this afternoon. So, I will prob clean a bit, get a Sonic drink w Baylie and maybe go check out some Legos. Then get caught up for the week and work on 'my room' craft/girl room. We've been in this house for 2 years and the 'office/whatever room' has served zero purpose! So, I'm thinking about claiming it!

Then I plan on making white chicken chili for dinner tonight.... And maybe going for a run...

It was a good weekend, my little man is out of school tomorrow so he gets an extra day off! Wish I did!

Baby it's cold outside....

This is how my morning started...

But I have lots I need to do today.... Clean house, drop off at GoodWill, run to target (not really a need) and do some closet purging and i have a few crafty things i want to do. My two fav boys r duck hunting w our girl Maryle and my daughter is off to work a double. So, it's just me and Henry....

Thursday is our Friday....

Since me and Kent are off on Friday's (we work 4 10 hr days), our week-end starts on Thursday which is our 'date nite'.  So, last night, we went to Saddle Creek and shared dinner and an appetizer.  He had a tap beer and I had a glass of wine.  Then, we stopped by TJ Max (looking for pillows--no luck) and then went to see War Horse--  Great movie but some of it was hard for me to watch.  We had a great time!


Friday, we got up and did P90X we are into our second week and then dropped Henry off at Vet to have his little teeth cleaned--so hard to leave him--I don't like the thought of him being put to sleep.  He did great, but had to stay most of the day as he was very groggy afterwards.   We ran a few errands and made a big to us purchase for some new 'Food Network' cookware--wasn't really planned but we got a great deal at Koehl's, got 30% off and they had Koehl's cash going on--so scored $40.  Got some cute Valentine towels for kitchen and Kent a couple of Chaps pull-overs that were on clearance.   Tried a new weight watcher recipe that wasn't that great---it was called Mexican Chicken Casserole.  I sh have known better--I've never been a casserole lover and never make them. Kent liked it ok--but me and Baylie not so much. Lol Oh well...

Off to snuggle in front of Fire Place and watch a little TV  before going to bed....

Legos

This is my little man Baylie.... And one of his creations... He has loved Legos since he was a toddler and has grown up creating and building... He amazes me at how he builds with his imagination no longer depends on the kits u buy! This is a two story house with a lot of details....
I don't want him to ever stop playing Leggos....:)

Cotton Bowl and 20 Years

Go Hogs!!! We play Kansas State at Cowboy Stadium tonight.. We are ranked #7. We are having a few friends and our kids over for a watch party.

Today is my 20 year anniversary for working at my company.. I basically grew up here... Lol. It's a great company and I feel really blessed to be part of it! He surprised me at work with an Edible Fruit arrangement. I've always wanted one, but they're almost too cute to eat... Lol. He's so sweet and thoughtful and I luv him so much!
